1st: Open the pack. You will see 3 folders. (cxmb,PSP,and seplugins) Open the "PSP" folder and then the "GAME" folder. Copy the "Update" to your "GAME".
2nd: Open "THEME" and copy "Reflect.ctf" to your "THEME"

3rd: Copy the "CXMB" to the root of your memory stick.
(I have also tested this cxmb on 5.50U3R-2 and it works fine.)
4th: Open "seplugins" and copy the "popsloader" folder, "popsloader.prx", and the "pops.txt" file to your "seplugins" (If you already have a pops.txt just open it with notepad and add this line:

5th: Open "seplugins" and copy the "vsh.txt" file to your "seplugins" (If you already have a vsh.txt just open it with notepad and add this line:

* NOW ON THE PSP *
Go under game and run the update.
You hit X to start then let the update run.
After its complete, you restart your psp and you will be in firmware 5.50gen-A with a custom theme and pops support(enables you to play ps1 eboots for those who don't know)

Must be on 5.50gen-a firmware 1st
Place the "5.50gen-b update" folder in your "game" folder and then run the update. Gives you the option to use the vsh menu or recovery when select is hit. In the vsh menu you can convert battery between pandora and normal. You also have the shutdown option.

You must be on 5.50gen-a/b to use this patch!!!!
Download and place the "u3rloader" folder in your "game" folder. Run the "5.50U3R Installer" under game on your xmb.
Hit X to install firmware.
(the other option is unstable)
Now it will patch and then you will be on 5.50U3R-2(Also called U3R-A)
What this patch does is adds some other options to the 5.50gen-a firmware. It has the shutdown feature under the vsh menu and most notably, it has the MS speed up option under the recovery menu's configuration.

For those who are on 5.50U3R-a and want to update to 5.50gen-b, follow the instructions below.
Make sure your cxmb plugin is disabled or you have 75% chance of semi-bricking. Its happened to me already
1ST: Download the Hellcat's recovery and place the "recovery" folder in your "game" folder. Then run it.

2ND: Agree and continue to the program. Now make sure the "Target FW:" is set to 5.00 then click on "Install CFW (of version selected above)"
Now wait. Don't touch anything or you will brick!!
LAST: After Hellcat's is done then hit X to shutdown and then follow the steps above to install 5.50gen-a then gen-b.

Trouble shooting:
Custom theme did not come up?
Make sure you have the ctf in theme folder and the cxmb folder in the root directory. Check the vsh.txt and make sure it reads the same as above. Or restart your psp while holding down your R shoulder button. Gen recovery will pop up. scroll down to plugins and hit X. Make sure cxmb.prx[VSH] is enabled. Go under theme settings and activate the theme.
Pops not working?
Again, make sure the folders and .prx have been placed in the correct spot. Now use the method above to check if popsloader.prx[POPS] is enabled.
Update wont start?
Make sure your battery is charged. This update only work on 3.52m33-3 or high firmware. (must have cfw to install)
ON the 5.50gen-b update you need to be on cfw 5.50gen-a 1st.

Q: Why do the themes not show up under theme settings?
A: UPDATED!!!!! Now the cxmb has been patched and your themes will show up under theme settings. (Remember to use only 5.50gen themes.)
Q: Is this worth upgrading from 5.00m33-6?
A: If you want to play your games online and get in the psp store then the answer is YES!!!!
Q: Why was this firmware created?
A: Because as new games launch (PSPgo titles) more than likely they will only run on the newest firmware.
