Although his patch doesn't work at 5.50GEN-B2, the 3.71 driver works fine
Don't tested it much, but Soul Calibur CSO is loading 3 seconds faster.
Important: To find the folder \kd of flash0, make your Operational System shows hidden files!
Tutorial:
The patch will crash at the gameboot if you have LEDA 0.2
Tested only at 5.50GEN-B2

PSP Phat Installation
1- Download: http://cfcdfd0d.seriousfiles.com

2- Attach the USB Cable to your PSP and, Turn it on holding R. Go to Advanced -> Toggle USB (flash0)
3- Access \kd\ folder at your pc
4- Backup these files:
pspbtjnf.bin
pspbtknf.bin
pspbtlnf.bin
And then put the new ones from the file you have downloaded.
5- Exit recovery menu and reboot your PSP after that
PSP Slim Installation:
ATTENTION: NOW IT'S REVERSIBLE!
1- Attach the USB Cable to your PSP and, Turn it on holding R. Go to Advanced -> Toggle USB (flash0)
2- Access \kd\ folder at your pc
3- Backup these files:
pspbtjnf_02g.bin
pspbtknf_02g.bin
pspbtlnf_02g.bin

FATMS MOD for 5.00 (also works at 5.50GEN-B2 as stated)
5- Put fatmsmod.prx on your MS root and FATMS371 folder at \PSP\GAME\
6- Disable plugins, CXMB etc
7- Run FATMS Mod app, hit X and wait it finishes.
8- If you want reverse the process, just flash back your backup files @ \kd\ folder
